Make a local copy of the valid-html badge. · 2bee6a35

We were using w3.org's version, but it's not available over https (!)
causing mixed content warnings on the page. Use a relative link to
      a local copy instead.

I think html(5) would be a better target these days, but let's
preserve history before rewriting the world.

Strip format.html from local anchor hrefs. · b5bab33b
      Ralph Giles authored
These were added as part of the scraping process used to generate
this repository, and aren't in the original file. This should be
done to all the html files, but I in particular wanted to be able
to compare differences with the format document in the flac source
      tree.

      Document a channel mapping for 7 and 8 channel audio. · 9270edaf
      Ralph Giles authored
The FLAC spec hasn't previously documented channel
definitions for 7 and 8 channel files, making it
difficult to encode 6.1 an 7.1 audio. This makes
      that definition.

The choice is based on popular surround configurations
for home theatre and gaming, using the Microsoft
WAVEX order, which most tools use internally.

Remove the eff CAFE badge and link. · 474ad857
      Ralph Giles authored
In 2007, the Electronic Frontier Foundation discontinued their
Campaign for Audiovisual Free Expression in favour of more
general work in Free Speech and file trading rights.

The cafe link is now 404, and the P2P page it used to redirect
to doesn't seem especially relevant to flac.
