no audio output - OS X 10.3.9
I installed the component this afternoon. I had Areks r24 version installed (removing his OggVorbis.component file from the QuickTime folder), then installing the latest XiphQT package, it seemed to all install fine.
I opened QuickTime and opened an .ogg file - the Meta Data decoded .. great.. but no audio. I couldn't hear any audio signal.
I am runnning OS X 10.3.9 (Server) on a DP 1.8 G5 - I removed the framework files and the Component file that the package installed and went to re-install the r24 package (as this works for ogg playback) now that package doesn't work .. has the installation added any other files to the system I may not be aware of .. also any help / idea as to why I get no playback would be good.
